Meet the Staff

Pat has over 30 years of experience in the areas of estate planning and administration. He joined Trustco in December 1999 and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Trust Department. Prior to joining Trustco, Pat practiced law in the Albany area for ten years concentrating in the areas of estate planning, wills, and trusts. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Siena College and his law degree from Albany Law School. Pat is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Trust and Estate Section, and currently serves as a board member for Sunnyview Foundation in Schenectady, NY.

Tom joined Trustco in 1986 after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. With 30 years of banking experience at Trustco, Tom has worked in several departments in the bank, including Compliance, Lending, and Branch Administration. Tom is involved with several charitable and civic organizations in the Capital District.

John joined Trustco Bank in November 2003. Prior to joining the Trust Department, John managed the Retail Lending Department and also has experience as a manager within Branch Administration. John received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Providence College in 2002 and holds NYS Life and Health Insurance License and the CTFA designation (Certified Trust & Financial Advisor). He currently serves as a board member at Schenectady ARC in Schenectady, NY.

Lauren joined Trustco Bank in 2011. Prior to joining the Wealth Management Department, she worked in Branch Administration. Lauren received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Siena College, is a CFA Level III Candidate, holds her NYS Life and Health Insurance License, and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. Lauren serves as a board member of Girls on the Run Capital Region.

Michael joined Trustco Bank in November 2013 as a Business Development Officer in the Wealth Management department. After graduating from the State University of New York at Albany, Michael also completed coursework at the College of St. Rose and is a candidate for the CFP Certification and continues to receive education and training in Trusts, Investments, Long Term Care, and Annuities.

Prior to joining Trustco Bank, Michael spent many years as President/CEO of a mortgage business. He is a lifelong resident of the Capital Region and has served on the board of directors for the Shaker Heritage Society as Treasurer. Michael holds a Life and Health Insurance License in several states.
