The Schenectady Foundation's 60th Anniversary celebration!

Trustco Bank was proud to be honored at The Schenectady Foundation's 60th Anniversary celebration! This foundation was created to benefit the health and well-being of the people who live and work in Schenectady County by former Trustco Bank employee, Bill Milton. Since July 1963, they have committed $31 million for charitable grants and scholarships, supporting more than 100 charitable programs.

In addition to taking care of our local neighbors, Trustco Bank is always there to help out other communities in need. Adam and John from the marketing department delivered a Trusty Van full of much-needed supplies to the Lexington Kentucky Seniors Centers to be distributed to area seniors that were affected by the recent flooding. In addition, Trustco Bank made a donation to the Team Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund.

Trustco Bank presents checks to Troy Rehabilitation & Improvement Program (TRIP), Inc. and Rensselaer County Housing Resources (RCHR), Inc. as part of the banks Charitable Donation Program to help families ensure they have a safe, affordable place to live. Trustco Bank is proud to support the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. The Regional Food Bank provides over 55 million pounds of food a year to 1,000 agencies. It was a great day to have a little fun and support this great organization.

It's Trustco Bank's 15th year participating in the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge! We had 75 employees representing on Thursday, August 26th in the annual 5k which raised funds for Opening Doors Every Day, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and The Red Bookshelf.

We were honored to host the Schenectady Police Department along with the Fire department and other code officials to give out 100 book bags and school supplies to children. The event that was arranged by Schenectady Mayor, Gary McCarthy, took place at our Brandywine branch and was a great way to give back to the community.

Trustco Bank is a very proud supporter of the Lake George Region Women for W.I.N. (Women in Need). This non-profit was formed for the charitable purpose of aiding women and families living in Warren, Washington, Saratoga and Essex Counties who are in need of food, clothing, medical services, home fuel, transportation costs and shelter by providing financial help or guidance in obtaining much needed items for subsistence. The Salvation Army is dedicated to serving those in need. From sit-down programs that provide nutritious hot meals and valuable human interaction, to mobile meals delivering sustenance to those who cannot reach a food distribution center, to feeding programs across hundreds of shelters and residential facilities, they help the most vulnerable members of society escape the daily burdens of food insecurity.
