Commercial Loan Team

Bill has been a lifelong resident of the Capital District, growing up in Lansingburgh and graduating from Siena College. He has over 25 years of experience in both residential and commercial lending. In his current capacity as a commercial lender, Bill is well-versed with investment property financing, SBA loans, commercial lines of credit, commercial vehicles, and construction and rehab loans.

Pat is a North Country resident, having grown up and currently living in Queensbury, NY. He is an experienced commercial lender and has been with Trustco Bank for over 25 years. Pat is very experienced in many facets of commercial lending, including owner-occupied and investor-owned commercial real estate, residential tract development financing, new construction financing, commercial lines of credit, equipment financing, and small business lending. He currently serves on the SUNY Adirondack Foundation Board.

Alex resides in Troy, NY and was raised in Nevada. Before joining the commercial lending team, he was a branch manager and mortgage loan originator in Trustco Bank’s Hoosick Falls and Troy branches. His branch experience makes him intimately familiar with the day-to-day needs of business clients. He is active in his community, currently serving on the boards of the Downtown Troy Business Improvement District and the Arts Center of the Capital Region.

Louis Ederer is a dedicated banking professional with 10 years of experience at Trustco Bank. Throughout his tenure, he has managed three branches, consistently driving growth in deposits, new accounts, and mortgage production. His strong focus on relationship-building and results has contributed to sustained success at the branch level.
In 2025, Louis served as part of the Branch Administration team, where he helped oversee operations across 51 branches throughout Florida. This role expanded his leadership experience and provided a broader perspective on branch performance, operational efficiency, and team development.
In 2026, Louis transitioned to the Commercial Banking team in Florida, bringing with him a proven track record of exceptional customer service, strong follow-up, and deep industry knowledge. He remains committed to delivering value to clients while supporting continued business growth.

Ryan was born and raised in Philadelphia and now resides East Greenbush, NY. He joined the Trustco commercial lending team in January of 2025 and brings with him five years of banking experience in the Capital region. Ryan specializes in structuring tailored financing options for real estate investors and business owners, and his focus is on delivering fast, reliable financing solutions. Ryan is active in his community and when not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons.
