Barbara Carlsson

I started my banking career in 1978 as a teller moving up into management in the mid ‘80s. As my career progressed, being in management changed quite a bit leading to developing my skills in the lending area. When coming to Trustco Bank in 2016, my experience working with clients had become a passion for assisting with real estate lending, be it to purchase a new dream home or simply helping with a refinance or home equity product.

I will educate prospects on the process, the products, and preparing for one of the biggest steps an applicant will take in their lives by obtaining a mortgage. They will have me involved in the entire process once they do apply right up until the closing. I look forward to having a client confident in the steps it takes to shop and apply for a loan of their home.
