A message from our Chairman, President & CEO regarding COVID-19

Dear Customers and Partners,

These uncertain times are proving to be a challenge for all of us. It is important to us at Trustco Bank that we do our part to make sure we all get through this healthy, safe, and stronger than before. As the situation continues to affect our world, I want to update you on how we are supporting our employees, our community, and you. Our thoughts are with those who are sick and the healthcare workers that are tirelessly caring for people around the world.

We are committed to continuing to provide you with the banking services and offerings you depend on. For more than 115 years, Trustco has been a pillar in the communities we serve, focusing on our mission to provide careful financial management and high-quality service. This enduring mission guides us as we respond to this situation and provide you with the information, support, and advice you need to manage your finances in this market.

We have instituted a plan to ensure that we continue to meet your needs. As the situation evolves, we are doing everything we can, such as maintaining branch hours, to minimize service impact and to reduce wait and response times due to an influx of inquiries. Rest assured; we are prepared to serve you.

First and foremost, our plan ensures the health and safety of our employees, especially those on the frontlines of service. We have armed team members with training on best practices from the CDC and are minimizing contact between employees and with our customers by limiting the number of people in a branch at a time, without disrupting our ability to deliver what you need. We have limited employee travel, postponed community events and continue to require those feeling sick to stay home.

Should you choose to visit a branch, we continue to augment cleaning procedures and provide protective sanitation items as recommended by the CDC. If you have a transaction that can be handled by a drive-thru teller, we encourage you to do so. Many of our branches are equipped with this service.

In addition to our branch network, we offer enhanced online banking offerings to conduct transactions, apply for loans, and manage your accounts. Our live customer support is available to you at 800-670-3110 (between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday - Friday, and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, on Saturday). We are also part of the Allpoint ATM network, which gives Trustco Bank customer’s access to over 55,000 ATMs free of charge.

Finally, as you assess your financial priorities, we are here to help you make informed decisions on checking, savings, investing and more.
